Midweight Graphic Designer – Pedestrian Jobs

Are you a Midweight Designer looking to jump into your next adventure? 

Are you able to wear many hats and solve design problems as they arise? 

Do you have experience designing within the fashion industry or other eCommerce platforms? 

 

Our client is a fast-growing boutique jewellery organisation based in Marrickville, Sydney. They are on the lookout for a strong multi-skilled Midweight Designer. With a great growth trajectory, this growing team will be launching new products and campaigns and need your help. 

 

You will be tasked with joining a small growing team of creatives and driven designers. Experience across creating, planning and developing concepts for Emailers, Ads, Instagram, IGTV, Facebook and other social platforms to build a genuine connection with their audience. Experience in the Fashion industry will be viewed very favorably, as well as skills and know-how around light video editing for socially focused video content. Promotional and Packaging Design experience will be required. You will be able to work to deadlines and manage others to achieve beautiful eye-catching content.

 

The Role:

  • Promotional and Packaging Design
  • Design and development of weekly email marketing campaigns
  • Assist in retouching eCommerce images
  • Flatlay creation for social media
  • Lookbook and Catalogue layouts
  • Work with the team to create, plan and develop concepts for Emailers, Ads, Instagram, IGTV, Facebook and other social platforms to build a genuine connection with the audience
  • Create social posts to engage curiosity and buzz around new collections and the brand
  • Ensure visual branding consistency throughout the business
  • Creative content for digital and print ads
  • Print design for in-store display and marketing
  • Design styling videos, educational videos and other engaging videos
  • Edit videos ready for Ads, Instagram or YouTube for advertising

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience working in the fashion industry
  • Advance understanding with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Html coding preferred
  • Experience working with Shopify and Klaviyo preferred
  • Ability to work in a team & autonomously
  • Image and Video Photography Skills
  • A portfolio must be available upon application
